I'm not the most active poster on this blog, however, as I was updating the Events section with a picture from our most recent Studio Recital (above), I felt compelled to express a bit of gratitude for this past year.
I feel so thankful to be able to do what I do. Teaching piano is absolutely the most fulfilling career I could have imagined. To be able to educate and inspire children (and adults!) to both learn how to play piano and, more importantly, express themselves through music is indescribably rewarding.
My studio has grown SO much in this past year, and it's been mostly due to referrals. And my students have grown as well. It isn't every day that a piano teacher is able to say that they have the best students (both as musicians and as people), but I sincerely feel that I do.
So a huge THANK YOU to all of my students and their families for supporting me and our wonderful studio to become what it is today. 2015 was an amazing year, and I look forward to more accomplishments, joy, and music making in 2016!
